Located on the corner of 27th Street West and Grandview Drive West, this is a grass field approximately 100 yards x 55 yards. University Place School District has not given UPSC permission to use this field in 2013.
CHS Lower Field(Lower Colgate):
This field is located behind the Curtis Jr High and past the Tennis Courts in the Curtis High School Stadium visitor parking lot. Access is from Grandview. It is a combination baseball and natural grass soccer field approximately 110 yards x 70 yards.
This field is located behind Curtis Junior High. Take the same entry as used for Colegate Fields except follow the road around into an area marked "For School Buses Only". Follow this road and you will see the field is off the scoreboard end of the CHS Stadium next to the CJH Gym. This is a grass field with measurements of approximately 90 yards by 50 yards located above the Baseball fields and Curtis Jr High Football Field.
JH Footbal (Curtis Jr. High Football Field & Track):
Located on the Corner of Grandview Drive West and Olympic Drive West. This is grass field approximately 100 yards by 50 yards. The field is accessible through gates on Olympic and Grandview Drive West.
UP CHS Stadium (Viking Stadium):
Viking Stadium is a field turf stadium and therefore has specific rules that must be followed. All UPSC soccer activities will use the Visitor side entrance for access unless otherwise approved by UPSD.
Evergreen has 3 grass fields. Evergreen North is the first grass field to your left as you enter and is approximately 95 yards by 55 yards. Evergreen South is the second grass field to your left and is approximately 90 yards x 45 yards. Evergreen West is to your right as you enter. Take your first right into the parking lot. The field sits below parking level and is adjacent to the playground. General parking for both fields in the school parking lot accessed from 40th Street West.
Narrowsview Intermediate School:
This is a grass field that can be laid out several different directions. Basically all layouts will result in a field approximately 90 yards x 45 yards. UPSC typically uses this field for U9 practices and games. Although the address is 44th Street West the field can be accessed by stairs leading up from 40th street across from West Pierce Fire and Rescue Station 2 (on street parking is limited here).
UPSC typically does not schedule time on this field, but it could serve as a Micro or Mod practice field. This is a small sloping grass field that will be approximately 45 yards x 30 yards. Access to this field is via 97th Avenue West and a small dead end street that will allow access to the field.
UPSC typically divides this location into two fields. Drum South is the larger field to the right side of the school gym. There is a paved walking track around the field. Drum East is the smaller field area at the back Northeast corner of the school. There is enough room to divide the Drum East space into two small Mirco or Mod practice fields.
This is a grass field that is typically used for U10 practices and games. Field access is from the school parking lot on 56th Street West during school weeks and roadside on weekends and non-school days. DO NOT Park in front of the school parking access gates.
Field 'A' runs East and West and is approximately 110 yards x 70 yards. This is the field closest to the Environmental Services Bldg. Field 'B' runs North and South and will be approximately 110 yards x 70 yards. This field is the first one to your left when entering the parking area (located above the school bus barn). Both fields are grass. Restrooms are available as well as walking trails in nearby Chambers Creek Golf Course.
Although not used by University Place Soccer Club as fields for Games. Charles Wright teams within our club do sometimes use the fields for a scrimmage or practice. These fields are private and must be scheduled by a team with Charles Wright contacts. This field is not to be used by University Place Soccer Club teams without express consent of the owners.
